How Facial Recognition Clocking Works
Clocking Methods
The C600 Pro uses biometric facial recognition to register employees’ attendance. Face recognition is fool-proof, non-touch and fully secure, leaving you confident in the knowledge that employees cannot clock each other in and out. The C600 Pro face clocking machine also supports proximity clocking via badge or fob. Each attendance event is accompanied by an audible and visual message to confirm success. To compliment the C600 Pro’s biometric security, a personal PIN can also be used. The ClockRite system has the capacity for up to 16 attendance clockings per employee per day.
Initial Registration
Registering a biometric facial profile is extremely quick and easy through a guided process at the clocking in machine. During the registration process the user’s face is recorded at different heights and distances in order to build a reliable reference for future clocking events. This ensures that clocking events are swift, efficient, and accurate, even with a large number of users. All facial profiles are stored as a unique mathematical algorithm, ensuring data security. The C600 Pro has the capacity for as many as 500 staff.
Clocking In and Out
Once registered, users can clock in and out quickly and easily. Recognition is almost instantaneous, and each clocking takes no more than a couple of seconds in normal operation:
- A user stands in front of the clocking terminal
- The C600 Pro’s face recognition camera matches the user’s face against their profile
- The clocking is confirmed through on-screen and audio messages
How Fingerprint Clocking Works

Employees register fingerprint clockings with biometric security, leaving you safe in the knowledge that they cannot clock each other in or out. The C600 Pro clocking machine also supports proximity clocking via badge or keyfob, with the option of a personal PIN for additional security. Each attendance event is accompanied by an audible and visual message to confirm success. The ClockRite System has the capacity for up to 16 clockings per employee per day.
Registration and Recording
Fingerprint registration is extremely quick and easy, taking just ten seconds per staff member. Multiple fingerprints can be registered in case of accidents or damage to a specific fingerprint. The C600 Pro clocking machine has the capacity for as many as 1000 staff.
Data Storage and Download
Clocking data is stored on the C600 Pro clock in machine until downloaded via LAN, WIFI or over the internet with our optional 4G router. Once downloaded, individual time sheets can be calculated and displayed in detailed reports. Attendance and payroll data is then stored securely on your PC or server.
